The stone glowed and Jon made an expression of disgust.
"I can not believe I'm actually friends with such a loser," he said, standing up from his bed and placing his hands on his hips. "Get out!"
Karyn couldn't help but laugh. "What?"
"You heard me, you loser. Get out of here. You're stinking up the room."
"Jon, you're only acting like this because of my wish ..."
"I don't care. I can't stand you being here. What would my friends think?"
"I'm your friend, Jon."
"Yuck. No way. It would ruin my image."
"Fine. I'll leave." He would be back to normal in an hour anyway.
"Ahem," Jon said. "I think you're stealing something from me."
Karyn looked down at the stone, which she was still holding in her hand.
"Give to me," Jon ordered.
Karyn didn't want to. Who knew what kind of wishes Jon would make in his current state? "It stays with me, Jon."
"Why, you little bitch." Jon grabbed Karyn and forced her to give him the stone. "I wish you would go away and never come back."
The stone glowed and Karyn immediately left the house, totally against her will.
Jon sat on his bed, thinking of all the things he could wish for. (Which would have been all of the things that Sarah McMillan would wish for.)
