Karyn thought for a moment, then her eyes went wide with realization.
"What is it?" Jon asked.
"Jon, I think I dropped the rock in the crowd back there."
"You WHAT!"
"Calm down, they're more concerned with you, anyway. They probably won't even notice it."
"But what are we going to do about the crowd?"
"Just wait it out, I guess."
Karyn decided to peek out the door to see how the crowd was. Some people were leaving, but there was still a sizeable crowd around the door.
"Jessica! Jessica, we just want an autograph!" One said
"Marry me, Jessica!" a man said.
Through the crowd, Karyn spotted a teenage boy pick up a rock. But there was no way she'd be able to reach him. He held the rock in his hand, looked over at the door behind which Karyn and Jon were hiding, and Karyn could clearly see his lips move to say the words "I wish..."
