After five minutes, Jon's hair instanly returned to normal.
"It worked!" Jon exclaimed, "Now we have a loophole. We can do anything now. Let me see the rock, Karyn."
"Hold on, Jon. I want to try one more thing. The rock is supposed to make the changes seem normal to anyone who doesn't hear the wish. My parents weren't at all surprised to see me with long hair or big tits yesterday, and a lot of my photographs had changed. I'm curious as to how this thing will make a totally illogical situation logical. Wait here."
Jon looked at Karyn worriedly as he sat on the couch. "What are you going to do to me?" he asked.
"Well, I guess I can tell you something. We just tried a five minute change. I'd like to try a change that lasts much longer--a day maybe, or even a week or more. So I'll put a limit on it, but the limit isn't five minutes; the limit is that it goes away when I tell it to."
"But what exactly are you going to change?" asked Jon.
"I can't tell you! The whole point is to try living with the new reality for a while, instead of telling you what I did."
Karyn went into the other room and made her wish, then came back out. She giggled a bit at the new Jon, but suppressed the giggle quickly.
"I don't notice any change," said Jon.
"You're not supposed to," said Karyn. "You're supposed to think the change is normal. So just live the next few days like normal. Only I'll know what's different."
Karyn wondered just what the new reality would be like with the change she had made. After all, there were plenty of things that could be different now that she had wished for Jon to....
