Karyn couldn't understand what Jon was laughing at. He didn't even seem to have changed anything. She was still wearing her favorite blue dress, the one with all the ribbons. True, the lacey green dress showed off her cleavage better, but she had worn that one special for him yesterday. She had chosen some of her sexiest underwear (not that she had any underwear that wasn't super sexy) and a pair of high heeled shoes (five inches, and it wasn't like she had many shoes that weren't high heels).
Jon hadn't changed her makeup or her hairstyle. It had taken her an hour to make sure everything had been done just right, and she would have killed Jon if he made her waste the effort. Her handbag was still on the bed. Jon always asked her why she needed so many purses when they all looked alike. (They weren't! They were totally different! Why couldn't Jon see that?)
But most of all, Jon hadn't changed her personality at all. She was still a Tomgirl: a girl who behaved like a guy but dressed like a girly-girl. Like other Tomgirls, Karyn preferred traditionally 'masculine' pastimes to 'feminine' ones and preferred the company of boys and Tomgirls to other girls. She was boy crazy and loved sex. It always mystified her how other girls needed to spend so much time getting in the 'mood' for sex when she was always ready. She couldn't even remember the last time she had said 'No' to sex. She supposed it would have been easy for Jon to change her into a girly-girl.
"All right, Jon," she said. "What did you do?"
