With this, she then whispers to the stone, "for the next 3 hours, every time Jon lies, I want his skin to deepen by one shade of blue, and my skin to lighten one shade as well. Every time he tells the truth, we will each have the opposite effect."
Jon looks at her shocked as he did not expect her to do something right in front of him, and definitely did not expect her to use the whisper to prevent him from hearing her wish.
Before she puts the stone on the dresser, Karen wishes, "I wish that Jon could not touch the stone for the next 90 minutes and that nobody else would enter this house for the next 3 1/2 hours."
Jon frowned at the realization that he could not affect the stone for an hour and a half, had no idea what Karen whispered, and he had no idea what effect Karen's last wish would have on her family. As Jon was thinking about all of that, he heard Karen ask........
