Karyn went in the other room, which was Jon's family's den. There was a bookshelf with the family's movie collection, next to a big screen TV. Karyn still wasn't sure what to wish for, so she casually began perusing the shelf of DVDs. She saw Jon's collection of action movies, and his mom's collection of romance movies, or so-called "chick-flicks". She frowned. She loved action movies, but hated that there were very few that starred women. If they were in them at all, they were always damsel in distress types. And conversely, she hated romance movies. She suddenly had an idea for a wish.
"I wish the main actors in Jon's action movie collection would switch places with the main actresses in Jon's mom's romance movie collection. Everything else in the movies would remain the same."
There was a flash, and Karyn quickly grabbed several DVD cases from the shelf to check out the changes. She laughed out loud as she saw that Julia Roberts was now the star of "The Terminator" and Arnold Schwarzenegger was now the star of "Pretty Woman". She laughed even louder seeing the casts of "The Expendables" and "Sex And The City" swapped. Sarah Jessica Parker and her gal pals now looked tough in fatigues, and Stallone and his crew were smiling happily in fancy dresses.
Karyn wondered how this change had effected the rest of the world. Had it effected Jon? One way to find out, she smiled, and she went back in the other room and...
