There was one case that had bothered him for weeks: Riley Merchant. His wife, Laura, had come to Dennis to try and find proof that her husband was cheating on her. His behaviour was suspicious: he stayed at work late, and came home with strange perfumes on his clothes. There was a suspicion, but before she could serve her husband divorce papers, she felt she needed proof. Dennis was intent on getting something on Riley, but he was too slick.
