At school that day, Samantha was called into the administrative office. "I hear that you're planning on having your sex changed," said the vice-principal, an attractive woman in her late thirties. Samantha blushed and nodded. "There's no shame in admitting it," she continued. "It'll be awkward learning to use and take care of your new body. It certainly was when I got my sex changed." Samantha was suprised. Karyn's new reality must have made sex change operations fairly routine. He wondered if there were any other sex changed people at school. "It took me so long to learn to like boys and I never stopped being attracted to girls, leaving me comfortably bisexual. But I don't regret it. Once you've found the right boy and squeeze out a few babies, you'll never look back. It's scary, but once you get used to your new life, you'll love being a woman. All of us who've had this operation do."
"But on to more serious business," she continued. "I'm glad that you've already chosen a new name; it'll make adjusting your records easier. All the paperwork has been filled out and your parents have approved the changes to your records. We just need you to sign a few forms. You'll need to transfer over to the girl's gym class for one thing, which will require that we adjust your schedule a little to compensate. You'll still get your same classes, but some will be coming at different times." Samantha and the vice-principal went over the necessary changes and forms. She was very sympathetic and helpful, probably due to her own sex change experience. "And Samantha," she finished. "If you ever need someone who understands what you're going through, just talk to me."
Samantha then had to go over to the school nurse, who would help him learn how to take care of his new body as he had his surgury. She gave Samantha a number of informative books and pamphlets, many of which appeared to be geared towards sex change recipients. These should be useful, thought Samantha, as he went back to class.
