The dress fit rather awkwardly over Jon's frame; the height match wasn't terrible--the doll must have been reasonably close to Jon's eight inch stature--but it was clearly designed for entirely different proportions. There was a sizable gap between Jon's upper chest and the cloth intended to contain assets Jon did not possess, while the stitch of elastic crimping the dress in at the waist was uncomfortably tight. The belling out of the skirt of the dress did a passable job at hiding Jon's erection--at least, in Jon's estimation--but terminated above Jon's knees, revealing the remainder of his legs, and allowing for easy viewing in the rather theoretical circumstance that anyone would actually be looking up at him from below.
Having helped Jon into the Barbie dress, Karyn returned her hands to their post underneath her chin, supporting her head as she looked down on Jon's tiny body. After stealing another glance at the wondrous cavern of cleavage formed between Karyn's bountiful breasts and the bed (despite her once again being clothed, the neckline on Karyn's top afforded Jon a wonderful view from this angle), Jon forced himself to look up into Karyn's eyes. In the distance, Jon could see Karyn's feet waving back and forth in the air; her legs clearly bent at the knees.
"If you want to know what the reason for the shrinkage was," Jon inquired, "Why don't you just use the stone to find out?"
"Don't be silly. That would be cheating. Besides, it would ruin our chance at having an adventure."
"Your chance. This is already way more than I signed up for. We were just supposed to be testing to see if people could figure out what had changed about the world due to wishes they never heard. I'm pretty sure I've worked it out by now." At that final point Jon smirked and crossed his arms in front of his chest. The effect of this gesture was somewhat diminished by Jon's sudden loss of balance as Karyn got up off of the bed.
"You mean, you would send me off on an adventure all by my lonesome without anyone to protect me?" While Karyn managed to deliver the line itself with a look of mock dismay on her face, she had to turn away immediately afterward to avoid having Jon see her grin at the thought of having Jon, in his shrunken state, and wearing a dress, trying to defend her from an unknown foe. Stifling her smile, Karyn turned back to Jon, with one hand, palm outward, upon her forehead. "Oh, whatever would I do without you, Jon? I could be eaten by wolves, or worse."
"I'm the one who should be worried about being eaten by wolves," Jon replied, deadpan, "Why don't you grow me back to full height, and then we can have your adventure?"
"Nonsense, you'd hardly even be a snack for a decent sized wolf," scoffed Karyn. "And if I grow you back, we won't really have anything left to investigate, now will we? We can't go around destroying evidence like that, you know."
"Investigation? Destroying evidence? Karyn, I'm half the size of a newborn infant. Be reasonable."
"Fine. Help me investigate what the stone changed to cause you to shrink, and I'll grow you up a bit."
"A bit?" prompted Jon.
Karyn threw up her arms in exasperation. "Fine, back to your old height."
"Deal. But I have no idea where to start."
