"Darn, I guess I was little heavy handed with the hints," Karyn said. "I really should have just acted as if nothing were different and waited to see how long it took for you to notice. Oh well, it'll still be fun."
Jon was still looking at himself and feeling his own arms and hips as he looked around the room. He felt perfectly normal. Now that he knew what to look for, the room did seem to be a little bit bigger, but without Karen's hints he would have just shrugged it off as just his imagination. "Wait! What do you mean it'll still be fun," Jon said turning back around to glare at Karyn. Unfortunately, his best glare only produced a grin and a snicker from Karen. This was almost certainly due to the fact that he was now looking slightly up into Karyn's eyes instead of looming over her.
Karyn grinned all the more as she watched Jon's expression shift from scowl to wide eyed panic. "Oh relax! It's only temporary. It'll be fun."
"Fun? Karyn, how much am I going to shrink?"
"Only for a half hour. Surely we can entertain each other for a half hour," Karyn said as she tilted Jon's chin up and kissed him passionately on his lips.
Jon was momentarily mesmerized by Karyn coming on to him so strongly. It took a few seconds after Karyn broke the kiss for Jon to realize that he was standing eye to nose with Karyn now. Granted, she was wearing heels, but it hadn't been that long since the wish. "Karyn, you said I was going to shrink for half an hour?"
"Yes, just a half hour short cakes."
"Ha, funny. I seem to be substantially shorter than I was, and it's only been a few minutes."
"Of course you are, I'm belittling you," Karyn giggled.
"Karyn, stop dodging the question. Exactly how fast am I shrinking?"
"Like I said, we'll have fun. I'll be Maid Marion to your Little Jon. It's only an inch. You're only getting an inch shorter. One inch is nothing to be concerned about. Granted inches do add up over time. In this case inches add up over a minute to be exact."
"Wait," Jon said stepping back and holding out his hands! "An inch a minute?"
"One little inch."
"For 30 minutes?"
"Cool huh," Karyn said as she embraced Jon and kissed his forehead.
