She had always been a clone of her mom, Susan. Jon looked in the mirror again. He saw a sixteen year old version of his mother. She even had the same hairstyle that her mom had when she was young. The only difference was that Jon was a girly-girl, which was a direct contrast to her mother's tomboy personality. "Seriously, Karyn," she said. "What did you do?"
"I'll give you a hint," said Karyn. "What can you tell me about how you were born?"
Jon rolled her eyes. "You should know this, Karyn," she said. "My mom can't have children, so she decided to have herself cloned. She wanted as normal a pregnancy as possible, so after the egg was fertilized and I was cloned, she had the me implanted in her uterus. She felt it was the easiest way."
"And what about your brothers and sisters," asked Karyn.
"We're all clones," said Jon. "Zoe, Mikey and I are all clones of my mom. I don't have any brothers yet, just sisters, but my parents are thinking of having a clone of my dad at some point. See, you can tell from our pictures." Jon grabbed one of his family. Sure enough, Jon, Zoe and Mikey were all younger duplicates of their mom. Aside from their ages, the three girls were obviously identical, both to each other and their mom. It was wierd seeing a 14 year old goth version of Jon's mom, not to mention an eight year old girl with the same tomboy tendancies as their mom.
"So, what did you really change, Karyn," asked Jon.
