"Ahh... I just said that, like we talked about earlier, I wanted to do a variation of that one..."
"Right," she said, "You wanted to do a slightly different pose, and without clothes, right?"
"Exactly."
Starting to feel a bit excited already, she took the robe off that she'd been wearing, tossing it onto the end of the bed. "Where did you want me?"
He indicated a spot, and helped show her the pose he wanted. As he did, she noticed that his hands were empty. "Where did you put the stone?"
Distractedly, he pointed vaguely towards the easel, but said nothing more specific, and kept moving her around until he had her exactly the way he wanted.
As he sat down at the easel to paint her, he caught her by surprise by changing the topic suddenly. "So what was it that you changed? I've still got no idea."
"It's really not important. Just keep going with the picture. I'll tell you when you finish."
"Ok," he agreed. Then he seemed to concentrate more, occasionally muttering to himself under his breath...
