After Jon got the groceries, he was hesitant to go back inside the house. He really didn't want to face his mother, who was already mad enough at him. He couldn't believe that he was just grounded for a month, just because he looked at Karyn in a slightly sexual way. Was it any surprise that they might have feelings for one another? They had only been close friends for almost seven years. Any closer and they would be dating, which was a possibility at the back of Jon's mind. Although now, his mom would make sure he'd never have that chance.
Sighing, he walked back inside with the groceries. "Might as well get it over with," he mumbled to himself, not realizing that Karyn had made a wish to help him out.
