Jon brushed off his concern about his outfit. It's fine, and anyone who says otherwise can say it to my face. He went to grab his backpack from his room- finding it slightly smaller to fit his new body and a bit pinker than he last saw it. There were also some pins scattered around it, many of them images of cats. Frustrated as he was with the day's events, he smiled upon seeing a particularly adorable kitten on one of the larger pins, eyes making its way into Jon's body and quickly melting his heart. He couldn't help but let out a brief "Awww..." before thinking about his reaction and shaking his head. "At least my room still looks the same."
He went downstairs and passed by his mother Linda making an omelet and Mikey, who was eating cereal. "Bye guys, see you later."
"Oh, no breakfast today?" his mother stated with mild surprise. "You know how cranky you get when you're hungry, you know- extra cranky, I mean."
"Moooooooom," Jon groaned as he stopped at the front door, "I just want to get to school on time. I can make it until lunch..." Then he crossed his arms for a moment and pouted. "...and I promise I won't be...crankier than usual, alright?" His mother chuckled.
"That's alright, sweetie. I'm just messing with you. Oh, I almost forgot! Karyn forgot this, mind giving it to her?" she said passing Jon a lunchbox.
It's still weird to think we're related now... "Sure, Mom. See you later!"
"Bye, honey." She turned towards Mikey, still eating his cereal, and put a hand on his shoulder. "C'mon, what do we say to your sister?"
He finished swallowing another spoonful before he answered. "See you later, Gwen!" Jon winced at his new name, but turned around with one final wave and went to school. Linda frowned as she looked at Mikey's shirt, with several stains clearly indicating her son had spilled milk on himself.
"Oh, honey...you've got to be more careful when you eat! C'mon, let's go get you something else to wear before you go to school."
As Jon got onto school grounds, only one thing was on his mind. "Gotta find Karyn. Maybe I can talk to her to get an idea of just how much has changed...oh, and give the lunchbox too." He knew there was only about 5 minutes until their first class, but he was already near his locker. If I could get there soon enough-
"GWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!" Came a loud, excited scream a short distance away. He turned around, and what he saw made his eyes go wide.
The face certainly gave away that it was Karyn. The hair too, was still blond like when she made the wish. He looked briefly at her chest, blushed, and then looked away. It was definitely bigger than the last time he saw her, even after using the stone! Nearly the size of her head... He also noticed she decided to wear a red, pleated skirt today, that ended just above her knees- very unlike her tomboyish nature. Surprisingly though, the shirt she was wearing drew more of his attention. It was mostly black, but the logo looked like a Starbucks rip-off, with a vaguely familiar girl that stared at the viewer with seemingly intense desire. Noting how the shirt said "Ara ara" made Jon feel very concerned towards what might be about to happen...
