"Well? What did you do?" Jon asked.
"Take a guess, it's only a minor change," was all that Karyn said.
Jon looked himself over, but couldn't for the life of him find anything unusual.
"I give up Karyn, are you sure you made the wish correctly? Nothing happened."
"You mean you don't notice anything odd about your outfit?"
"What? No, this is the same thing I've been wearing all day," Jon said as he gestured to outfit, a perfectly tailored black skirt that ended just above the knees, a silk blouse, blazer, and matching stiletto pumps. "Now, I don't have all day to play games, Karyn. I have to get to work in a few minutes." He picked up a purse from the nearby table.
"What? What work, Jon? You don't have a job."
"Right, very funny. You better not have wished my job away."
"No, of course not, Jon. What job are you talking about?"
"Duh, what's it look like? I'm a secretary at that accounting firm downtown. Remember, you helped me pick out the outfit for my interview?"
"But Jon, male secretaries don't dress like that."
Jon turned away, like he hadn't even listened to the question and began walking out the door.
"Look, I've gotta go, Mr. Johnson said I could be in trouble if I'm late again. We can play with the rock later."
"But-" Karyn couldn't finish. Jon took off on his three inch heels before Karyn could say anything more.
