Izzy didn't know what just happened. The last thing she remembered was arguing with Jim's obsessive secretary and then a bright flash... Now everything was slowly coming back into focus.
“What happened? Why is everything so blurry?” Elaine asked but quickly noticed that her voice didn't sound right. She tried to clear her throat but even that didn't sound right. “My voice!” She said in a panic as she covered her mouth with one of her hands.
Izzy on the other side of the room heard a familiar voice freaking out and it sounded a lot like hers. She pushed herself up off the floor and immediately felt different. She had less energy and felt heavier; especially her chest. Once she stood up, she looked down and couldn't believe what she saw. Her perky B cup breasts had been replaced with a pair of much larger ones and they were encased in a yellow dress instead of her white wedding gown.
Freaking out, Izzy asked “What the hell just happened?” Her eyes went wide as she paused after hearing the voice that came out of her mouth. She turned her head saw something she that shouldn't have been possible. She saw herself wearing her wedding gown feeling herself up. She looked at the different colored hand in front of her and back down to the larger breasts on her chest and put two and two together. Somehow she was in Elaine's body.
“Give me back my body you thief!” Izzy demanded as she lunged towards her doppelganger.
At first, Elaine had no idea what happened. When she got up and started speaking, she knew something was wrong and it was even more obvious when she noticed that she was wearing glasses and different clothing. Instead of the yellow dress she had been wearing, she was not dressed in a tightly fitting wedding gown. She used her hands to feel her body and it felt so foreign to her. It was definitely smaller and lighter but it also felt so much younger too.
Elaine looked up just in time to see her self jump onto her.
Izzy grabbed her body and pinned it against the vanity. "I don't know what you did you hag but I wan't my body back now!" she demanded.
Elaine's heart skipped a beat when she noticed that she was somehow face to face with her own body. "Your body?” she asked before looking down at her smaller, yet darker cleavage that stuck out of her chest. "Wait! I'm in Isabelle's body?"
"Yeah. You're in my body and I'm trapped in yours." Izzy said as she looked down over her rightful body. She did have to admit, from this angle she looked better than she thought in her wedding dress.
While Izzy was admiring how good her body looked in her wedding dress, Elaine managed to push Izzy off of her. “Wow Isabelle. I’m in your body! This is so..." Elaine said as she examined her tanned hands.
"...creepy!" Izzy interrupted her.
"More like amazing I would say." Elaine told her as she started walking around the room. "I've hated you from the first moment I saw you. You stole the man that I had loved long before you came into the picture..."
Izzy quickly occupied the mirror in the vanity and almost cried when she saw Elaine's older and less than stellar reflection stare back at her. “This shouldn't be happening... this shouldn't be possible...” she mumbled to herself before looking around the room. Elaine in her body enjoying herself as she paced around the room while examining her new body.
She remembered a blinding flash of light before this all happened and thought where it could have come from when she noticed the stone on the table. With a sense of urgency, she walked over to the table and picked up the strange gift she received. But as she held it in her hands, she noticed that it didn't look the same as it did before. The strange glow that she thought she saw earlier was gone and it now looked like an ordinary stone.
“What’s is that?” Elaine stopped to ask.
“I don't know. It was an unmarked gift that I opened right before you came into the room but I'm pretty sure it caused this.” Izzy told her.
Elaine walked up to Izzy and tried to look at the stone, but not before Izzy pulled it away from her reach. "I'm positive that this is what switched our bodies. It was glowing earlier and that bright flash I saw looked like it came from the table where it was at." Izzy explained.
"It looks like an ordinary rock to me" Elaine said.
Izzy held the stone in her hands and said "We need to find a way to switch back."
Elaine glanced at the stone before looking in her former body's eyes and asked "Why would I want to do that?"
“Because I'm supposed to walk down the isle in a few minutes and get married!" Izzy firmly stated.
Izzy watched as she saw her body smirk as Elaine said "No... I'm about to walk down the isle in a few minutes and marry Jim."
“You can't be me!” Izzy frantically exclaimed while not trying to break down.
“This has to be the best thing that's ever happened to me since I met Jim. I've been trying to find a way to stop you from sinking your teeth into him and right when I thought that I had lost, I end in your body.” Elaine triumphantly explained.
“You'll never get away with this! People will notice that you can't do my job and so will Jim.” Izzy said as her blue eyes began to tear up.
“I know Jim better than you do and besides, who is going to believe some crazy story about body switching anyways?" Elaine asked her as she glanced over towards the mirror and saw both of their new reflections.
Izzy brought her unfamiliar new hands to face and began wiping away the tears that ran down her cheeks. She knew that Elaine was right and nobody would believe her. Everyone would think she was crazy and have her locked up in an asylum.
Elaine brought a hand up to the chin on her old face and calmly told Izzy “There's no reason to cry. You'll be able to spend plenty of time with Jim after the honeymoon.”
Izzy managed to hold back most of her tears as Elaine gave her a menacing grin before turning around and leaving the room to join the ceremony.
But once she was gone and Izzy was alone, she couldn't help but break down completely.
