"I wish," Karyn started. "... that for 24 hours, Jon, while still retaining his memory, would switch bodies with his sister Zoe." The stone glowed, granting her wish.
When she walked back into Jon's bedroom, she saw Jon's Goth sister Zoe ... wearing a purple bikini. But, of course, that wasn't Zoe. It was Jon.
"Karyn, what's going on?" Jon asked. It was so weird hearing his sister's voice when he talked. "I thought you were going to change me back into a girl."
"I did. Your sister is a girl, right?" she asked, with a giggle.
"That's not what I meant and you know it," Jon said. He looked at himself in the mirror. "Ugh. How long do I have to stay like this?"
"Twenty-four hours."
Jon spun around and looked at Karyn with wide eyes. "Twenty-four hours?! I can't be Zoe for a day. I'd have to sleep in her bedroom. I'd have to interact with her friends." Then he gasped. "I'd have to go to school."
"You could always just skip. Hasn't Zoe done that before?"
Jon collapsed on the floor, then leaned against the wall. "I can't believe you did this to me."
In the next room, Zoe (who was in Jon's body, but thought that she was really Jon) looked down at "his" clothes. Why was he wearing his sister's Goth clothes. And why was he in her bedroom? He didn't know the answer to these questions, but he was sure that the wishing stone had something to do with it.
