So the stone caused Karyn to swap bodies with someone else, in much the same way as Jon was swapped with Lindsay Lohan.
The stone picked a sexy muscular college guy who was driving through town at that exact moment and swapped his body with Karyn's. Now that college guy had Karyn's body, but also Karyn's mind.
Karyn stopped the car and looked around. "I was just at school. How did I get here?"
