When they finally arrived at the mall, Joan said she had to make a quick detour, but said that she'd meet up with Jan and Karyn in the food court when she was done.
Jan and Karyn sat down at one of the tables.
"So," Karyn said, taking the wishing stone out of her pocket. "Want to wish for something while we wait for your mom?"
