Jon was wearing a pink top, which ended just above his belly-button, which was pierced. He wore a red and black miniskirt, with black, patterned tights, and knee length boots, which had a chunky three inch heel.
"Come on then," said Jon.
"You can't go out like that!" spluttered Karyn.
"And why not? You didn't complain the other night when you said what I was wearing was sexy." Just then, Jon looked at Karyn. "Are you really going out like that?"
Karyn looked at her own outfit. Red blouse, jeans and sandals, with painted nails sticking out of the ends. "Of course I am"
"Well, don't blame me." Jon walked out of the door, Karyn in tow. Karyn got to the end of the drive and looked in amazement. A rather large, hairy, man was walking down the street wearing a flowery yellow dress and court shoes. A boy was running to school in a plaid skirt and dark blue tights. Mrs Humphries from down the road was on her way to work, wearing a smart black suit, with tie and collar. Had the whole world gone mad?
Karyn then noticed that some people were looking at her strangely. A boy of abour fifteen passed by and remarked to Jon: "Hey, Jonny, how's your boyfriend?"
He carried on walking, his heels clacking on the pavement.
"What's wrong?" said Karyn.
"You don't know? You look like a freak dressed like that. You should know what would happen if you go out dressed like a boy."
Karyn suddenly realised - she was now the equivalent of a boy wearing girls clothing - a female transvestite! No wonder people were staring. She had to get to the mall and fast.
