Mikey sat in his room after breakfast trying to figure out why he had become a boy overnight, and why his entire family seemed to think he had always ben a boy. He didn't want to be an icky boy, he had been a girl all his life, he liked being a girl... he didn't know how to be a boy. But after his mother yelled at him, he got dressed, and he was very upset with the choice of clothes. Nothing matched, everything was out of style, and everything just seemed to stiff and icky.
Mikey got dressed in the most fashionable thing he could find, but he knew if he was going to be a boy, he'd really have to get a new wardrobe. He then went downstairs to wait for his mom, who drove him to school. But then the doorbell rang, and when he answered it, he saw his best friend Cassie standing there. When Mikey had been a girl, she spent all her time with Cassie, and they did everything together, and just seeing her there sent a rush through his body. She must remember that he had been a girl, she has to remember... she has to.
"Cassie!" Mikey shouted.
"Hey Mikey, you ready?" Cassie said cassually. Mikey was taken aback, she had called him Mikey. She was just like everyone else, all his hopes had been dashed with that one word.
"Mikey, is that your girlfriend Cassie? You be good at school, honey!" his mom called out.
"What?" did she just say Cassie was his Girlfriend? "You... you're not taking me?" he asked, confused.
"Don't be silly Mikey, My mom is taking us to school this week, remember?" Cassie said as she took his hand and pulled him out to her mothers car. Mikey was so confused, his entitre world was falling apart, everything was wrong, but at least, he still had Cassie. He was sure if he could get her alone and explain everything to her, that they could figure it out.
Meanwhile, Zoe had dressed for school, and was ready to walk when she heard her new sister call her name.
"Zoe, I need your help." Jon called. Zoe walked over to her sisters room, with a huge smile on her face.
"Yes, Sis?" Zoe said sweetly.
"I... I...I have a problem." Jon said slowly.
"Yeah, you're tellin me, that top soooooo does not go with that skirt!" Zoe teased.
"No," Jon said calmly "I just found out, that... well, you're right... about everything...."
"Well, Duh!" said Zoe casually.
"I need you're help... I don't know what to do..." Jon said.
"About what?" Zoe said a bit confused.
"Well, I know I'm supposed to be a boy now... But, I like being a Girl, ya know? It seems more natural... what... what should I do?" Jon begged. But Zoe just smiled.
"You're so dumb. If you want to be a girl... then just stay the way you are, when your room turns back into a boys room tonight, just wish it back... stay a girl..." Zoe then started to giggle at this point. "Its just that I never thought my big brother was such a girl, you never struck me as a sissy, or the type of guy who would rather have been a girl, you know, like Mikey... but whatever... It really is all up to you... Although I bet Karen might mind, since you were basically her boyfriend, but who knows, maybe she's into the whole chick on chick thing...." Zoe burst into a fit of giggles as she strode off, leaving Jon alone in thought.
