"Alright Jon," Karyn said coming out of the other room, "I've got to tell you, I didn't make any wishes to change you. I was just tricking you."
"I knew it," Jon said, absently tugging at the hem of his skirt, "But you did have me going there for a second. It would've driven me crazy to think that there was something different about me when there wasn't." Now he was running a hand over his silky knee socks, not thinking anything of it. "Say, how about we go grab a bite to eat."
"Sounds great," Karyn said, "Let's go to the mall. By the way, I love your look. I think it's great."
"Thanks," Jon said. As they were walking out the door, Jon noticet that Karyn had left the rock on the coffee table. Unbeknownst to her, Jon darted inside and grabbed the rock, tossing it into his purse.
