The next morning Jon woke to his alarm blaring out loud music. Grumbling to himself, he struggled out of bed and into the bathroom.

After his morning shower, he was a bit more awake. Looking at his reflection in the mist covered mirror, he thought to himself, 'Looks as if I need a hair cut. My hair seems to be getting a bit long.' Jon finished drying his shoulder touching hair and headed off to his bed room to get dressed.

Like most boys (and for that matter many of the girls) his age, Jon was into the baggy look. For a brief moment he wondered if the jeans and sweatshirt he grabbed weren't a bit more baggy than before, but shook off the idea as ridiculous.

No one noticed, or commented upon Jon's slow shrinkage. The change each day was minor.

It was nearly a week later when Jon's mom noticed that his clothes were not fitting as well as they had been. "Jon are you losing weight?" She asked, as she continued to sort through the day's mail.

Jon looked down at his body and said, "No Mom. I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 126, same as I have, like forever."

"Well your clothes seem too baggy. Maybe we should go shopping this weekend."

"Can we, like afford to?" Jon asked. He knew that money was a bit tight since his father had died. His mom tried hard to make ends meet, but she had gotten married right out of high school and was only now beginning to develop the skills she needed to make more money in the business world.

Ignoring her son's question, she said, "I wonder what this is?" 'This' was an official looking envelop from the IRS.

She opened the envelope and read the letter inside.

"Mrs. Stevenson,

During a recent audit of your last three year's tax returns we found several errors. After recalculating your owed taxes we found you had an additional return. Enclosed is that check.

Yours,

David D. Davidson
Head Auditor"

Jon's mom then looked at the enclosed check and smiled. "We can now Jon." She said. "The IRS will be paying for both of us to get some new clothes this weekend." She showing Jon check for over $2500.

Jon, who never liked to shop, looked at his mother in horror. Spending a weekend with her shopping with $2500 to spend seemed like torture.

Thinking quickly, Jon said, "Ah, Mom, you know how I hate to shop and you know my size and all, and I sort of, like promised Karyn that I would, like help her this weekend. Maybe you could, like go without me."

Knowing how her crossdressing son hated the idea of anyone finding out about his desire and also knowing that he really did want to wear girls clothes, she reluctantly gave in. "I guess that I can get you some new clothes on Saturday, but I would really rather you came with me. I think you would enjoy the shopping."

"I promised Karyn." Jon said, this time with a bit more conviction.

"Okay. I guess I can go alone." 'This time.' She added to herself.

Glad to have gotten out of that problem, Jon went to his room to call Karyn that he was going to be helping her this weekend.
