As Ronald and Jade walked up to the teacher's desk, Ronald heard a potential wish from Jade, "I wish Mr. Redding believed whatever Ronald or I told him." Ronald smiled; this might make things interesting. Ronald approved the wish and Jade whispered the wish under her breath.

Mr. Redding stared at the two students. "Mind telling me why you two missed half of my class? Going to the restroom does not take that long."

Jade began. "You see, Mr. Redding, I was having a bit of . . . stomach problems, er, lady problems." Her face turning red at the lie. Ronald chuckled how she told a lie that made her embarrassed.

"That explains you. But what about Ronald. I doubt he had . . . lady problems."

"Well, you see," Ronald began, trying his best to hold back a smile. "When I was walking with Jade to the bathroom, she asked me to go grab a drink from the vending machine; she said it helped calm her. However, when I got to the vending machine, there was this dragon."

"A dragon, you say?" Mr. Redding said; he didn't have a questioning tone, but more of wonder. Jade gasped at Ronald.

"Yes, a dragon," Ronald continued. "With wings and everything. Luckily, it wasn't very big and couldn't breathe fire. We face each other off for a good five minutes and then I chanted a magic spell my uncle had taught me. The dragon disappeared without a trace. I bought the soda, but I realized I had peed my boxers because I was scared by the dragon. I couldn't appear in front of a girl with soiled underwear, so I went to my locker and grabbed extra clothes. After that, I gave the soda to Jade and then came back here. I'm sorry it took so long."

"I see," Mr. Redding said. "That does create cause to be late. Please try your best to call a teacher next time it happens. You're excused."

"Thank you," Ronald said. "Please don't tell anyone about this; I don't want people to get scared." Mr. Redding nodded and waved them off.

Ronald led Jade out of the room; she was still speechless. She looked at him questioningly. "I overheard your wish," Ronald said. "I wanted to test out to see how far I could go. Make me excited to test it out with you."

Jade giggled an extremely cute giggle. "I can't believe you did that. Now he believes a dragon appeared in the school and that you have magic powers."

"How do you know I don't," Ronald winked. "I'll see you in geometry later on today." The two went their separate ways.

Ronald took out his list. He was a little sad he couldn't meet with Jay at the end of class to begin his transformation, but he'll find a way. His next class was PE. Nichole Summers was his next target.
