Athena nodded and took off the pendant necklace. And the moment it was no longer touching her neck, she disappeared!
"Where did she go?!" Karyn yelled.
"Someone must have already wished that she'd be gone too," Jon said. "The only thing keeping her around was the necklace."
"Where is the necklace?" Karyn asked. "Did it disappear with her?"
They looked around on the floor, hoping to spot it.
