The game Leonard and his friend David were playing was called Clash of the Realms and thakns to his wish were now the most popular card game.

The rules were quite easy. There were 5 colours of cards: Fire, Water, Nature, Darkness and Rare(colour that was compossed both of some really freaky and strange cards and cards that just didn't fit into other colours), there was also a few multicolours. Each card had its own costs of playing, usually in mana of given colour but there were also cards that required sacrificing a creature, merging two creatures and some others kinds of cost. To get a mana players used artifacts , as well as some creatures can give mana.

There was 3 types of cards: creatures, spells and enchantments. Creatures were cards that were played and stayed in game untill they were destroyed, spells were cards that resolved immidiately and then went to discard pile and enchatments were cards that could have specific influence on the game but, unlike creatures, couldn't attack.

Creatures strength were measured in power and toughness, when monster was dealt more damages than its toughness it was destroyed. Game field itself consisted on two zones: battlefield and support zone. Only creatures in battlefield could attack. Both players and monsters could be attacked, but creatures on a battlefield could block attack directed at player or monsters in support zone. Only creatures with "defender" abbility could block attack directed at other monsters in the battlefield. Creatures in support zone could block attack directed at the player, but support zone has other purposes, many creautures gaines stronger abbilities while in this zone as some of the creatures were only useful in support zone, thanks to their weak fighting abbilities.

Each player started the game with 4000 life, first to lose all health or first player whose deck ends loses the game.
