Athena looked at her friend, surprised. "You're actually interested in Steve?"
"Oh, come on, Athena," Zoe said. "Everyone's interested in Steve. Even my mom."
Athena tugged at her crystal pendant again, wondering if maybe Steve made another wish. Zoe was never interested in Steve before. In fact, she wasn't interested in any guy that wasn't a Goth. But now, there was a clear difference in Zoe's personality.
"But for him to pick that slut over me ..." Zoe said. "Ugh."
"Well ... let's just find him. Okay?" Athena said.
Zoe nodded, then went inside the restaurant. She wanted to make absolute sure that Steve wasn't there.
Meanwhile, Karyn was still walking home. She passed by the Gibson house and suddenly stopped. It was where that slut Jenna and her Goth sister Zoe lived. She had no idea why, but she had this feeling that she had been there ... recently. Karyn had no idea where that thought came from, because she had never been to that house. She didn't even know the family (or want to).
She scratched her head, then continued on home.
In the back of her mind, a voice (her voice) kept telling her to find Jon. But who was Jon?
