Jon stared at her hand, in shock. How did a stupid Snapchat lens turn me into a girl in real life?
There was no mistaking that was what happened. Jon's T-shirt and jeans had been replaced with a black ladies tank top (clearly showing she had breasts, to boot) and lavender miniskirt. Not only that, but this was the same room...but everything in it was different. Different sheets on the bed, posters on the wall. Curious despite herself, she began to look through her things, a mix of the familiar and the very unfamiliar. There was a trophy in a dusty cabinet in the corner, next to a photo frame showing a team picture of a cheerleading squad. The name Jazmyn, painted on the lavender wall in a flowing script. A teddy bear that reminded Jon of one he had as a kid, just purple instead of brown. And, to Jon's utter relief, a familiar small box on an unfamiliar makeup vanity. Surely, the stone is in there, she thought.
The room was painted in lavender. Apparently she had a thing for that color. It was definitely neater than Jon's room. There were some candles, some poetry and Victorian literature. "Weird...just weird."
She headed out into the hallway, figuring she was safe. If the whole room had changed with her, then she assumed no one would notice...that that she was sure she was ready to fake being...Jazmyn. She stopped and looked at the picture on the wall. It was a family photo from last year. She remembered being in it. Although the version of her in the picture was wearing a long fancy dress. There was a girl next to her, maybe a year or two younger, wearing a pink floral pink, looking like the girliest girl ever. Strangely, there wasn't a boy in the picture.
"Hey, Jaz," a female voice asked.
She whirled around. The girl from the picture was standing there, although she was wearing a pink shirt and jeans. She stared at her for a moment. Mikey? How did Mikey become a...teenager? And where was Zoe?
