"Ugh, I can't believe teenage boys," she said, "Sometimes I wish boys never existed."
She felt compelled to close her eyes and a moment later, she opened them to see that something was definitely different. All of the boys were gone, leaving her class half-full of just girls.
It was plain as day what had happened. She had wished away all of the boys in her class. She must have been dreaming, but she pinched herself and felt the pain. It was all real!
Miss Robertson said "Excuse me" to one of the girls.
"Yes, Miss Robertson?"
"What happened to all the boys?"
The girl looked at her strangely, not knowing what she meant. "What is a boy?"
Now it was Miss Robertson that gave an odd look. "What do you mean by what's a boy? You don't know what a boy is?"
The girl shook her head. They didn't even know what a boy was! What exactly had she done?
Meanwhile, Karyn was looking all over for her magical rock.
