"Ugh," she said in disgust, thinking about all of the losers and freaks that she had to deal with each day. They all hated her. Her. She was the most popular and sexy girl at school! Everyone should love her, not hate her. So, just thinking out loud, Sarah said "I wish everyone would just love and respect me."
She felt the stone in her hand warm up. She looked at it just in time to see it slightly glow. "What the hell?"
Jon and Karyn came around the corner and saw that Sarah had their stone.
"Ugh, not these two." She hated Jon and Karyn. And they hated her nearly as much.
They walked towards her. But instead of seeing hatred on their faces, she saw delight.
"Hi, Sarah," Jon said. "You found my wishing stone, huh?"
"Wishing stone?" Then she realized what had happened. She made a wish and it came true. That's why the stone was glowing. "I suppose you want it back now."
"No way, Sarah. You keep it. You definitely deserve it," he said.
"Yeah, Sarah," Karyn said, happily. "You always deserve the best."
Sarah couldn't quite remember what she wished for, her memory wasn't really that great. But it certainly was something good, because now all of the losers were treating her with respect, like they should have done before.
