"But that is your mom?" Richard asked.
"Yeah, it is."
"You better tell me what's going on," he demanded.
"Okay, I accidentally switched my body with Amber's. Now Amber must have my body. Or, I suppose, anyone could have it."
"Do you remember what it looked like?"
"No. I don't." Amber brushed past her mom and sat on the living room couch. "This is stupid! I can't remember! I just want everything back to normal!"
Upstairs, Jenna waited to hear who was downstairs. And once she heard a girl raising her voice, she recognized it. It was Amber's voice. How the hell did she get here? she thought.
She quickly ran downstairs and peeked around to corner. It was Amber alright and with Richard too.
She walked around the corner and into the living room. "Hello, Richard."
"Do I know you?"
"I used to be Tiffany. But I'm calling myself Jenna now."
"Jenna?" Amber said. "Jenna. That's it! That's who I used to be."
"You used to be her?" Richard asked.
"Yes. I know it."
"Sorry to spoil your visit, but you two shouldn't be here," Jenna said.
"We came for the ..."
"I know what you came for. And you're not going to get it. Do you really think I'd let anyone else get their hands on my little treasure?"
Amber had to do something. She noticed that Jenna wasn't holding the stone, so it was probably still in her bedroom. Could she risk outrunning Jenna up the stairs? Or would she have to get the stone back some other way?
