And finaly Karyn start to say "Jeez, I wish you grow up a little... You're so..." but she stopped feeling her pendant being warmer a moment.
Then she sees Jon, Zoe and friends growing a feet taller but keeping their shapes. Their clothes have been ripped off and they almost were nude in the mall. To avoid any humiliation, they run away in every direction.
Karyn could clearly see Jon was almost 7 feet tall and Zoe was over 6 feet. That was really strange.
The group of bullies gone, Karyn took her pendant questioning herself if the jewell could really grant wishes.
"What just happened ?" Saids Sarah.
"If only I knew..." Just answered Karyn still in her reflexions.
"It's you isn't it ? You say to them to grow up and they... well... grew up." Sarah looked at her friend still her mind away from here.
After a moment of silence, Karyn looked back at her and showed her the pendant.
"I think, it's that, I know that sound crazy but it can grant wishes !"
Without that vivid proof, Sarah never would believed her, but clearly something supernatural happened.
"Well, with what I've seen, I can't say it's stupid. Where did you get that ?"
"It's Jon grand-father who send me this to excuse his familly for the behavior of his grand-son. If I remember well it can grant any wish, but it's sometime kind of too literal and the wishes can't be reversed." Says Karyn.
"That's weird, but lucky for us, Jon didn't get it. So he and his sister will stay gigantics ? That's funny, at least you didn't wish for something worst." Says Sarah, a smile in her face.
"Yeah, big luck I didn't wish something else..." Karyn says looking at her baby.
"Can... can I have it a moment ?" Says Sarah hesitantly.
"Why ?" Karyn look at her suspiciously "You won't turn me into a lesbian... don't you ?"
Sarah makes a forced laugh.
"ME ? Nah ! ... I'm not going to forcing you into something you don't want... I... I just wanted... to... makes my life easier."
"It's dangerous Sarah, if the stone misunderstand the wish, it could do serious damage and you wont be able to change it back." Saids Karyn with a sermonic tone.
"Karyn you have the ultimate power in your hand and our lifes are crap. You wear your sister's old clothes and I have a seriously disfunctional familly. It would be difficult to do worst." almost yelled Sarah.
Karyn slowly became withdraw. Sarah was right, but she didn't want to hear it, her life was crap, everything seemed to decay. It wasn't her life it couldn't be, how the things could have gone so bad. Her baby was the only thing who kept her away from madness and despair, she was so focused to raise her as best as possible she made herself forget all the rest.
Suddenly she feeled the arms of Sarah around her, the girl was hugging her. And that move bring her back to reality, avoiding the fall into depression. That girl was really something, a true friend... but just a friend, nothing more and Sarah will have to go through this.
"It's okay..." just saids Sarah.
Karyn hugged her in return and the pendant, between them, was pressing against the skin of the two girls.
