Jon lined up with karen and the rest of the girls
"Okay, ladies" the coach barked "these are the tryouts to fill the three vacant spots on the squad. There are 7 of you girls here today, and Four of you will be going home unhappy." Jon and karen shared a nervous look.
Jon didn't know why but he NEEDED to get on the squad. It almost seemed to him at the time that if he wasn't part of the squad he'd die.
"Okay, Ladies, you know the drill. I want you all to follow the steps, and repeat them in sync with the music. And I need you to do it with a smile on your face."
The Girls trying out all followed the steps of the Varsity Cheerleaders and did their best to stay with them and mimic their every move.
Jon did everything he could to be the best, and sexiest cheerleader he knew he could be. and by the time tryouts were complete, and the Coach had the results, Jon and Karen were more nervous than when they had started.
"Alright Ladies... I'm going to announce Three names, if your name is NOT one of them, you're not on the squad, and thank you for trying out, you all did a fine job today... Katie Finnerty..."
