"So will you try out with me" Karyn asked JJ.
JJ wanted to say no but instead he felt compelled to say yes.
"I knew you would agree with me. Now we need to call your mom to tell her that we'll be staying after school tomorrow" Karyn said
"You can use my phone" Mrs. Robertson said
"Thanks Mrs. Robertson" Karyn as she dialed the phone
"Hello" Mrs. Jennings said
"Hi Mrs. Jennings" Karyn said "I just called to tell you that Jennifer and I will be staying after school tomorrow to try for cheerleading"
"Okay I'll be there to pick you up" Mrs. Jennings said "Anything else"
"No Mrs. Jennings" Karyn said "Bye"
Mrs. Jennings hung up the phone. Still holding the stone, she said "I wish that Jennifer and Karyn could get good dates to the prom."
