All around the world, people were glued to their televisions, watching the reports.

"This just in, communications have been lost in all areas of human settlement around the nations of the subraces. We have yet to hear from an of the leaders of the nations, but it does appear they have begun to take an aggressive stance against humans. Sattelite immages show the total destruction of various populated communities, including Denver, neighboring the Dwaven city of Thorbardin, and Hawaii, neighboring the gnomish city of Mt. Nevermind."

The public reaction was rather bad. The humans ridiculed the varius subraces living among them and ran them out of their settlements. Riots were common, leaving many of all races dead where they fought. Although there were peacemakers in all races, most generally saught the protection from their native people, as they were the only ones they could really trust.

Some races fared better than others. The goblins and ogers were generally the most hated races. All races still took a toll from the newly found and intensified racism that emerged. Elves, dwarves, gnomes, and halflings were shunned and attacked. But no organised military force ever attaked them, like was done with some punk-like goblin parties.

Thus began the Great Migration, or the Great Sundering, where almost all relationship between the races was cast aside. And Zoe's wish was fulfilled.
