Karyn as the brooding Angel winced as Jon/Buffy pierced him with a stake. She was expecting everything go black as his body turned to dust.
But nothing happened. There was only pain. Angel looked down and saw the stake no where near his heart.
Buffy looked up to Angel and smiled, "Spike never said where to stake you."
Spike fumed, which just made Xander think she was even cuter when she was angry.
"Buffy, I want you to ki-" Spike started but was cut off, but a quick wish from Angel.
"I wish Spike was mute"
Spike's lips finished the sentance, but only silence filled the air. Her face looked stun. Then through a range of emotions from shock to anger to horror, before letting out a quiet scream.
Buffy pulled the spinters out of Angel commenting, "I think that worked. I can't do what he..er, she says if she can't speak."
