“Is it true that you and Zoe are pretty close friends?” Jon says, curious on how this would go. Once again he feels his eyes watering, as he rubs them.
Upon opening his eyes he finds quite a few things have changed! Karyn’s top was now black with two rips in the back and one on the sleeve, her shorts now black jean shorts with a spiked belt with a skull belt buckle. Black mascara was applied around her eyes, as he could see multiple piercings quite clearly. One silver ring in her navel, three in her upper right ear, two holes where earrings would go in each ear, a black stud in the center of her tongue, three on her right eyebrow, a silver ring through her right nostril, and a hole in the center of her lip where another would be!
“Why don’t you treat her better asshole?” Karyn says standing up. “You know I love you both like siblings but shit man, order her a fucking pizza instead of ogling my tits.” She says casually, unlike Zoe’s attitude. A new vulgar vocabulary setting in her everyday speech.
Jon shrugs and pulls out his cellphone. “Uh yeah sure. One sec.” He says calling the local pizza place and stepping aside. As he orders two pepperonis, Karyn rolls her eyes and licks her lips, thinking about how lame Jon could be at times. Getting up, she walks out of his room and down the stairs, as Jon notices her sandals were now 5’ inch knee high boots, that clicked against the stairs. Jon finishes the order and quickly heads downstairs, peaking his head around the corner to eavesdrop on them.
“Karyn, down to go with us to the spot tonight? We’re sneaking out around ten.” Zoe says as she paints her nails black. Karyn sighs and shrugs. “Depends I’m who’s going. You know Jon and I don’t give two shits for Athena to much.” She says, as if she’s met her more than twice. As far as Jon knew Karyn only knows Athena from when she picked Zoe up a few months ago and when the duo sprayed painted the school’s gym! “Come on Karyn don’t fucking be like that! Why can’t you two just fucking make up? She-“ she’s cut off however as Karyn puts her hand out. “I’ll pass. Tho I’m stealin’ one of your chokers, my mom fucking threw mine out last night.” She says before heading towards the stairs.
Jon hops down as if he wasn’t listening. “Oh, hey Zoe, money should be by the key bowl. Pizza should be here in ten.” He says, following Karyn back up the stairs and back into his room. This was awesome! Karyn was still herself, but with a hint of Zoe! ‘What else should I do...’ Jon thinks as he shuts the door behind him.
