"Oh Jon, don't worry I'll fix it." Karyn said, holding the stone in front of her face, "I wish that Jon was wearing clothes."
There was the familiar moment where we each looked away, and I felt a flutter and a tightness of fabric about my body.
When the moment passed I heard Karyn burst out in laughter once again. Looking down I found the reason why.
I had on, an odd assortment of clothes. I was wearing white gloves on my hands, a green leather vest, over the top of a yellow flowery dress that ran down to my knees, and on my feet were black leather boots.
"That's hilarious!" Karyn chortled, "You should check yourself in the mirror."
I turned around and gazed at my reflection in the mirror in my room.
I was also wearing a top hat, and a silk scarf that I hadn't noticed before. Squirming around, I could feel what seemed to be a large bra draped loosely under the yellow dress that clung too tight around my waist.
None of these clothes fit me, the dress was the worst, and they looked ridiculous together.
I threw the top hat at Karyn, "Give me the stone!" I demanded, slinging off the scarf.
"Oh come on John, its funny. I didn't mean any harm; it's just how the stone interpreted the wish I guess." Karyn backed away, but seemed ready to give the stone back.
I stumbled as the leather boots which were too big, tripped me over. Pulling each boot off was easy enough, but the rest of the clothes I wore would take a little more time.
"Karyn just give me the stone and I'll wish myself into clothes that fit, ok."
"Come on Jon, let me, please." Karyn begged, and if I had pushed a little harder, a little quicker, I might have gotten control of the situation, but I was too late again.
Karyn held the stone in front of her and began to wish once more.
