"You did?" asked Jon.
"Yeah... We just couldn't do it."
"Hmm," said Jon. "Would you guys mind if I made you more willing to do it?"
"What?" said Jeff. "You can do something like that? What are you, some kind of magician? Or some mad scientist with a mind control device?"
Not exactly the response Jon was expecting. "I wish," thought Jon, "that nobody else thought there was nothing strange about my question."
Jeff's expression was briefly confused, and then he answered again, as if he had never said what he had just said. "I wanted to try it, I just couldn't... Sure. "
"I'm with Jeff," said Joseph. "I'd do it anyway, it was just Jeff that wouldn't."
Good, thought Jon, and thought out another wish. "I wish that Jeff and Joseph would go off and have sex with each other now, without chickening out." Then he said "Go off and do what you were doing before. See if you have the nerve to do it. I think you'll be surprised this time."
