Witnessed

Outside in the ally, Jed, an old tramp mused on what he had just witnessed. This strangely acting young man being carted off in the patrol car. He shuffled over to the bushes where he'd seen somthing fall from the chaps neck.
He hunted around for a moment, then he found it .
A strange looking medalion, he wiped it on his sleeve, then bit into it, testing what type of metal it maybe. "i might get a few dollers for it " he muttered to himself, hooking it around his neck, so as not to loose it, He reached into his bag pulling out a bottle from which he took a swig, as he shuffled off in search of somewhere warm to spend the night.
