Jon was still pondering his dilemma when Jeff approached him between fifth and sixth periods.
"Hey Jon, you doing anything after school?" Jeff hailed him.
"I dunno, why?" Jon asked.
"Well, these two friends of Alan's, Sandy and Dale, asked us to go out tonight. Y'know, video games, a movie, maybe something to eat. Just regular stuff."
"Yeah, so?" Jon replied, wondering who Sandy and Dale were.
"Well, Alan and I, since, uh, you know..., well, we don't how to dress, or act, or what to bring, you know? Like, should we wear skirts or pants? If we wear skirts, what kind of shoes do we need? Should we shave our legs? Do we need to bring tampons or condoms or a makeup kit or anything? Where would we put stuff like that? Do we have to carry a purse? Wouldn't that look odd if we wore pants?"
"Look, there really aren't any rules for guys like us -- guys with pussies. You pretty much have to decide for yourself and then play it by ear," Jon replied, as if he had any experience himself.
"Well, look, could you come to the mall with us after school and help us pick stuff out?" Jeff begged.
"I don't think so," Jon was about to say, then Karyn saw the two boys speaking and joined the conversation.
