"Wait", said one Jon. She led Pete in and motioned for Pete to buy her a ticket. Then she rejoined on the inside, becoming a guy.
"Hey, don't surprise me like that!" said Pete.
Then Jon became two girls again--and both were on the inside.
"I can't believe it," said Eric. "All the things you could do by becoming girls... and you decide to use it to cheat on a fair ticket."
"We're not cheating!" said one Jon. "We did start as one person, so we should only need one ticket."
"Hold on," said one Jon as the group passed a brick building. "We have to go to the john. No pun intended."
They entered the building, in which was the men's room, ladies' room, and a drinking fountain and some vending machines. First they went into the ladies' room and did their business, though they wondered--what would happen if one of them used the toilet and the other didn't? How would the combining and splitting work? For that matter, what about eating--what if they were hungry and only one ate? Or if they both ate, then rejoined, then had a stomach twice as full? Or would it just average out the stomach contents? It was so complicated.
When they finished, they both sat down on one of the benches inside the building.
"I knew you'd have the same idea," said one Jon.
"Of course," said the other. "We heard it before our last split. That whole condom thing was strange."
"Yeah. How could we have condoms from this afternoon, when we were in school?"
The other Jon nodded. "Besides, even a slut wouldn't need several boxes of them. I wonder what she meant by the whole condom thing then."
The first Jon thought. "Well, it could have been a joke we were too thick to get. Or she might have meant we were supposed to use some, but save the rest for later."
"Or," said the other Jon, "the plan could have been to use them for some silly reason, like party decorations... though if so I bet we were planning to use them for their normal purpose too."
The first Jon reached to touch her stone and then said, "Or maybe the idea was to use them for sex, but to give out the rest of them to other people. I wish we knew what the deal is with those condoms... oh, and what Pete's plans for the two of us are tonight..."
