[That episode is wrong. First, Jon already made the wish, so there's no need to make it a second time. Second, Jon and Karyn had just left the school library, so they're at school, not at home.]

Jon looked himself and Karyn over. "We're both girls," he said in a strangely high voice. "No, wait...." Jon could feel that his penis was back and looked down to see masculine legs and a male body shape. "I'm a guy from the waist down--now it's the exact reverse!"

"Only now it's too!" said Karyn. She didn't roll up her pants to check, but she didn't really need to--her lower half lacked any female curves and her feet were obviously bigger. And she could definitely feel an unfamiliar part between her legs.

Zoe opened the bathroom door and walked out, holding together two pieces of a strange statuette, about a foot tall, in her hands. The museum brochure posted on the hall bulletin board made it very clear that that was the artifact.

"Uh, heh, heh," said Zoe, noticing the two. "I guess that didn't work after all."

"Zoe..." growled Jon.

"Wait," said Karyn. "She didn't do anything wrong. You wished for the whole situation... she never decided to use the artifact, the stone made that decision for her and she just remembered it."

"What are you guys talking about?" said Zoe. "You're sounding strange. Stranger than I'd have expected even with all that happened."

Fortunately, one of the precautions of the wish was that Jon would know enough about the new reality to get along. So Jon was able to explain. "Zoe, what you remember is that I accidentally broke the artifact, it put me under a curse, and somehow you got ahold of it hoping that with your knowledge of the occult, you might be able to fix the curse. You finally found a private place--a bathroom stall--and tried some kind of chant or something over it, hoping it would return me to normal. And instead, it made me and Karyn into girls with guy parts."

It was all Zoe could do to nod as Jon explained.

"But that isn't what happened at all. You just think it is. I'm not going to explain, but let me say that that statue isn't the only magic that exists. But it doesn't really matter. We need to use that statue to really fix things."

Zoe looked at the statue and at Jon, trying to decide what to do.
