Jon walked through the front door and looked over at the clock. It was around nine thirty. He looked over towards the couch and saw Zoe watching tv. She went to the same high school as a sophomore so she must have just arrived. Jon thought about his command from earlier
‘Zoe, grow your hair one inch every three hours. Also, Zoe, every time you cut your hair, grow your hair twice as fast.’
That was about two and a half hours ago, so her hair must be close to an inch longer than usual and he could kind of see it. Jon thought that this was moving a little more slowly than he would like so he whispered a command. “Zoe, for the next twenty four hours cut your hair to its usual length whenever you notice growth, dispose of it, and then forget that you had done so.” Jon then decided to speak up. “So, what are you gonna do with your extended summer vacation?”
Zoe turned to face him “I don’t know yet, but I’m sure I’ll be doing more than that McMillan bitch will be up to.”
“Fair enough. Do you know where Mom is at?”
“She’s at work, she’ll be home around four after she picks Mikey up from school.”
Two and a half hours later, at noon, Zoe brushes her bangs out of the way when she noticed for the first time that her hair has grown. “What the fu...” is all she can say before she instinctively gets up and walks to the bathroom, leaving Jon on the couch to watch tv with a smile on his face. She entered the bathroom she took a pair of scissors out of the drawer and started cutting away. Once she was done, she put the scissors away, threw the hair away, and walked back out to the couch, and acted like nothing happened. But, little did she know, her hair was now growing one inch every hour and a half.
