Tyler was astonished, that was for sure. When Lebron told him that he had a stone that could grant any wish, he thought the guy was fucking nuts (and thought that maybe he was wrong about the guy not using drugs), but then he showed him the power of the stone. And, well, that certainly changed things.
"So, you're telling me that you want to use this stone to do what again?" Tyler asked.
"Ah wanna add mo sistas to da school," Lebron explained.
"When you mean add ... do you mean change people?"
"Ah already done it. You know dat stuck up white bitch Nadine Ferguson?"
Tyler nodded.
"By da end of school, she ain't gonna be white no mo," Lebron said, with a smile.
Tyler wasn't sure how he felt about this. That stone could really mess things up, and while he was only one of a small group of blacks at the school, he kind of liked how things were right now. And Lebron wasn't just wanting to add more black people to the school, but add black people from a specific type of culture - the ghetto culture. Tyler didn't want to think about his school being overrun by what Lebron and his own cousin Tyrone thought of as an ideal lifestyle. But even if he wanted to stop Lebron, could he? With that stone in his possession, Lebron could just wish him away, or something worse. He had to be careful about this.
"So what do ya think, man? You in?" Lebron asked.
Elsewhere, close to the school, but in a secluded spot, Nadine was digging through her purse. She needed something, but she wasn't sure what. And then she found it. She pulled out a box of cigarettes, but just stared at them for a moment. What were these things doing in her purse? But then she remembered that she put them there. Where the hell else would she put her smokes?
And with that, she took one out, popped it in her mouth, then lit it up, as if she had been doing this normally for a while.
