"No!" Jon yelled. "Please, Carl. Don't do this!"
"Hey, bitch. I said Carl ain't here. Now, I wish you forget everythin' bout the stone and everythin' bout me and Karyn. She my bitch now," Lebron said, smiling.
The stone glowed, granting Lebron's wish. And suddenly, Jon was confused. He knew he should be mad at this black guy, but ... he couldn't remember why. He had no idea who the guy was.
"Uh ... who are you?" Jon asked.
"Lebron Schneewind," he answered. "Ahm the star basketball playa at the high school. How you not know dat?"
Jon grabbed his head. He knew something was wrong, but he had no idea what. He felt frustrated. "I ... I don't know. I guess I'm not really into basketball."
"Not in ta basketball? What kinda shit is dat?"
"I don't know. I ..." As hard as he tried to figure things out, he just couldn't. It was almost like parts of his mind were gone ... completely gone. But that didn't make any sense, did it?
Lebron smiled, feeling satisfied that the stone did what he wanted. Jon had no idea who he was. But there was one more thing he wanted to check. "You know a girl, name uh Karyn?"
"No. Should I?" Jon answered.
Lebron smiled again. "Nope." He then turned and started to walk out of the room.
"Wait, why were you in my room?" Jon asked.
Lebron paused and turned. "It don't matter." Then he left, leaving Jon with his confusion.
