Stepping out of the bathroom it took James's eyes a second to focus. She wasn't sure if she was hungover or still half drunk. When she lifted her bleary eyes up from the floor to the bed she let out a tiny little gasp.

There was a man in the bed!

He was laying with his back to her, half under the rumpled covers and a pillow covering his head. Nervously biting her lower lip, a mannerism she had picked up during her time as Jill, James debated whether or not she should wake the man up or just gather her things and sneak out as quietly as she could. Wracking her brains, James tried to remember if she had gone out last night after she had started drinking. After all, no one knew she was here - - right?

It was second nature to carry it everywhere when she was Jill, but James would have forgotten it if she hadn't started thinking about how much money she had left and what she could do with it. Creeping back to the nightstand by the bed, James had just slung the purse onto her shoulder when the man in bed rolled over, opened his eyes, gave a sleepy smile, and said, "Morning, beautiful."

Oh my God! James shrieked inside her own head. The man in the bed was...
