Karyn sighed sadly. While making me into a beautiful bride, the stone decided to make Karyn into my handsome husband! "Yeah, Jon... its me. I... didn't mean for this to happen..."
I frowned, looking down at myself. "Well, you certainly meant for THIS to happen. I think you're getting your just desserts for putting me through all that..."
He nodded. "Yeah.. I'm real sorry, Jon. We got a little carried away. Payin for it now, though, aren't I?"
I placed a hand on his, trying to comfort my friend (And now husband). "Well.. look at it this way: we're getting a free trip out of it. And maybe we'll find Emily and the stone there!"
Karyn smiled warmly. "Yeah... it won't be so bad. At least I'm with you, right?"
I could feel myself blushing as Karyn took me by my lithe, feminine hands. Maybe it was the effect of the spell, or maybe it was a subconscious attraction to Karyn... but before I knew it, we were embraced in another passionate kiss. And I'd never felt happier in my entire life.
I felt Karyn tug at a necklace that I was wearing. Strangely enough, I hadn't noticed the size of the stone that it was attached to... and Karyn pulled away with a gasp when he saw what it was.
"Jon! Jon! Jon! Jon!!!!! Its the rock!!!" he exclaimed, his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. I was half-dissappointed, but half-relieved as well. I didn't want to be stuck like this for the rest of my life. And I really wanted to find Emily.
"All right, well, lets try to get back to our reality, okay?" I said, a bit softer than I'd have liked. I was sure that the magic was causing these mixed feelings inside of me. But it did feel good to be loved...
"Okay, here goes.." Karyn said, gripping the rock. "I wish that we were returned to our own reality.."
I closed my eyes, feeling very excited... but nothing happened. I groaned when I realized that I was still in the back of the Cadillac. "What gives?!"
Karyn gave a sort of grunt of disgust. "Wait... how did she word it?! I think she said that she was the one who had to reverse it!"
I started to panic again. "We don't even know where she is! Wait.. wish for her to be here! Just make sure you word it so that we don't get some other Emily or something."
Karyn nodded. "Sounds good! Here goes: I wish that our friend Emily, the girl who made the wish that Jon was a bride, was here in the Cadillac right now..."
There was the flash, and then...
