Liz paused for a moment. And then she said "I wish that when Jennifer wished for things to be different, she meant that her family had as much money as Charlie's new girlfriend's family."
"WOW! That's a mouthful," I said. It was the last thing that I (as Jon) ever said. Because a moment later, I was back in California with Liz. I looked down at myself. Yeah, I was definitely Jennifer again. But, I had remembered everything from when I was Jon for some reason. And I missed Karyn.
"Ha HA! Jennifer, we're back!" She looked at me and saw a sad expression on my face. "Jennifer? What's wrong?"
"Karyn ceased to exist, didn't she?"
"Well, she was never real to begin with."
"Still, I miss her." I looked at Liz's hand and she followed my gaze to the stone.
"Oh no. No way. You already messed up this world enough with your other wish. I'm not gonna let you make the same mistake twice."
"It won't be like last time, Liz. I'll be specific this time, I promise."
Against better judgement, Liz handed me the stone. "If you think this is best."
I grasped the stone in my hand and said "I wish Karyn was real and was here and was best friends with me and Liz."
The stone flashed and we were compelled to look away.
