The girl looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. She did look exactly like Jennifer. Then she said,"Yes, I'm Jennifer. I'm so sorry Jon."

Jon didn't know what to say. He saw a crying girl, and felt he should try to comfort her. But he also saw a girl who had just had sex with Biff, and by her actions cursed him to do the same. And that means...

Jon got really mad. "I'm going to kill that son of a bitch for this. What did he wish to do this to you?" he asked, clenching the stone in his hand.

She looked away. "I'm so sorry Jon, I really am. Try to calm down before you make a wish, please? You're scaring me." "You don't really want to kill him." she added.

Jon clenched his teeth and squeezed the stone so tightly his knuckles started to go white. "I do want to kill him for whatever he did to you. But you're right, I don't want to start using the stone to kill. I know what, I'll w--"

"Don't." she said, cutting him off. "I know what you're thinking of doing to him. I don't like him either, but he doesn't deserve that."

"How can you say that after he did that to you!" Jon demanded. "He'd be getting off easy. Hell, what he did was rape! It's more lenient that the courts would be, if they'd ever consider magic to be a rape drug!"

"Jon," she said slowly. "Biff didn't rape me."

"Right. He just wished you wanted it so much you couldn't help yourself. Think about it! You'd never do this without a wish controlling you! I should know, I am you!"

"Please, Jon, don't be so angry. Promise me you won't make a wish until you've really thought about it, ok?"

"Sure, fine, I promise. Now tell me, do you know what he did to you? Did you hear his wish?" he asked urgently, but more softly this time.

"Jon, no. Biff didn't make a wish. He didn't rape me. This isn't his fault."

"That just means he made a wish you didn't hear. You remember how the stone works, don't you? Wait, did he take your stone? You remember you have your own, right?" Jon was worried Biff knew enough about how the stone works to make some careful wishes, like making Jennifer think everything was her idea and forget about the stone. "Do you have yours still? Where is it?"

"I still have it. It's safe in my locker. I didn't bring it so he wouldn't accidentally find it." she told him. Something about that seemed off to Jon, but he couldn't quite place it. It rattled around in the back of his skull and put him on even more edge.

"Ok, Jennifer, I've thought carefully about this, and it won't hurt anyone. I wish I knew what Biff wished." Jon said. Nothing happened. "I wish what Biff wished was written on the blackboard." Nothing happened. "I wish I knew what happened!" Still nothing happened. "I'm not sure why this isn't working, but you did this yester-today, right? Think back. What do I have to wish to find out what happened?"

"You can't."

Jon was puzzled. "It's a wishing stone. Of course I can. I just need the right way to word the wish."

"You can't because it would contradict a previous wish."

"What do you mean?" He asked. "We never made any wishes like that. And you don't know what Biff wished, so you're not going to tell me he did it."

"You can't because..." she trailed off.
